The South Worcestershire ITT Consortium ( SWITTC) School Direct Programme will meet your needs.

The Consortium of partner schools has a strong commitment to Initial Teacher Training. It typically supports on average 30-40 trainees each year covering a wide range of subjects. In doing this it has developed strong working relationships with the partner institutions.  The School Direct Programme will build on these partnerships and provide an opportunity for trainees to develop in settings which will support their development as teachers.

Working in partnership with the University of Worcester and BCU the consortium consists of: Prince Henry’s High School

The DeMontfort School Evesham

Droitwich Spa High School and Sixth Form Centre

Pershore High School

John Masefield High School

Dyson Perrins High School

Westacre Middle School

The Vale of Evesham Special School

The Kingfisher School Redditch

As a consortium we have the ability to shape our course to ensure that trainee teachers receive a first class programme which will allow them to develop their subject knowledge, learn the craft of the classroom and experience a good range of classes. The University of Worcester and BCU  have an excellent reputation for the quality of its teaching and is regarded as Good with outstanding features by Ofsted in its primary and secondary phases and employment based ITT. Worcester and BCU also have  very high employment record.
